Yellow Rail achieves ISO 9001: 2008 Accreditation
Yellow Rail has achieved Accreditation to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certification following a rigorous assessment of its processes and procedures by RIQC Limited.
RIQC is the independent certification body, originally accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) as the only internationally accredited certification body specifically established for the railway industry.
"As a growing company, achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification is an important and essential milestone for Yellow Rail" said Andy Kevins, Yellow Rail's Managing Director.
"It provides further assurance to our customers that our management system and processes are of the very highest standard, as demanded by our rail sector clients.
"This achievement was the result of considerable effort from Yellow Rail's management and staff, particularly over the past 12 months and is another important step in our continual improvement process."
The nature of Yellow Rail's depot-based operational activities means the company management and supervisory structure and processes need to be extremely effective in their design and implementation, to ensure services are delivered safely, to the standards required by Yellow Rail's customers, partners and the rail industry generally, for the provision of safety critical services.
