Support grants to fund your business premises now available

Our forthcoming Open Day at the iD Centre in Derby will be ideal for you if you are unemployed, redundant or a recent graduate and thinking about starting a business.

If you are one of the above, then money is probably one of your biggest concerns.

Find out about the wonderful facilities, support and grants that are available at the iD Centre in Derby.

Come in and have a look around the centre and speak to the people who have already started their own business, we have some motivational speakers and also inspirational workshops on the day. We are working in partnership with the Derbyshire Enterprise Agency.

Grants available

You may be wondering if there are any grants available. The simple answer is ‘Yes’ and getting your hands on one of them is not as complicated as you might think.

The University of Derby is offering grants to help with the cost of office and studio space at their flagship incubator units. Grants are available now.

The iD Centre...

offers professional, furnished offices within a prestigious business park close to Derby city centre for engineering and technology based businesses. There are 32 offices in total ranging from 105 sq ft to 438 sq ft. 

All have broadband internet access, free car parking, 24 hour access and security and fully equipped meeting and conference facilities with video conferencing. A comprehensive support programme is available.

To apply you must be unemployed, a recent graduate, have been made redundant or be at risk of redundancy.

There is one form to fill in, followed by a selection interview if you meet our criteria. Then we can agree a moving in date. It’s as simple as that. 

Grants available from June 2009 to September 2010.
We aim to give you as much or as little support as you need.
