Tony Wrighton joins the Yellow Rail Board
Yellow Rail in Derby has strengthened its management team in order to manage its growth strategy in the UK rail sector.
Tony Wrighton is a chartered engineer with 29 years' rail engineering and operations experience. He began his railway career as a BR engineering graduate trainee and worked at depots across the country.
Tony was Commercial Director and then Production Director at Maintrain before becoming Fleet Director for Midland Mainline in October 2003. He later became their Production Director and deputy MD, prior to taking the role of Engineering Director at East Midlands Trains.
Tony is a Non-Executive member of the Yellow Rail board and is responsible for advising the Executive Board on business strategy, engineering and operational activities.
