You are here > News » ID Centre News » The Cinimod Scalp Pen has finally arrived!

Over the past five years Cinimod has been developing a unique medical device which will reduce the number of caesarean sections performed, reduce the numbers of children brain damaged at birth and cut the number and expense of medical lawsuits that can result from problems in child birth.

The concept was the brainchild of Eddie Adamowicz the founder of Cinimod and now after extensive research and development, the first commercial product has been successfully delivered. Eddie is quick to recognise the support he has received from many sources but none more so than from clinicians within the NHS who see this Scalp Pen as a vital life saving tool.

Cinimod Scalp PenThe Cinimod Scalp Pen has received the CE Mark certificate and conforms to ISO13485:2003. These official attestations ensure that hospitals can use this novel instrument with complete confidence in their maternity suites. The broad acceptance of the Scalp Pen is apparent in the fact that the first two hospitals to use it will be The Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham and the Isala Clinic in Zwolle in Holland.

The iD centre want to acknowledge not only what Eddie has done for those as yet unborn but also how he has helped other start up businesses based at the iD centre to develop their own sales and marketing strategies.
