Business support lies at the very heart of the relationship we have with the dynamic individuals who make up the iD Centre community. Over forty successful businesses can bear witness to the support that helped them to radically transform their companies.
By working closely with our entrepreneurs, we quickly analyse their support needs and we then provide that assistance either from our own internal resources or from trusted and experienced external colleagues. As most of that assistance is free, we can justifiably claim to be the most cost effective one – stop shop for high growth start up businesses.

Since opening in 2003 the iD Centre, run by the University of Derby has nurtured over forty businesses and helped them create over 140 new jobs.
