Unit Costs
There are 32 fully furnished units which vary in size from 106 sq ft to 483 sq ft, which allow us to accommodate the individual just starting out as well as the expanding business.
The monthly payment to Derby City Council, who are the landlord, has three components, one the basic rental figure, a service charge and VAT.
The rental figures are set for the three year period of occupancy and a rent subsidy applies for the first two years. In year one this subsidy is 25% and the second year is 12.5%.
The service charge is set annually with the new figure being effective from the 1st April each year
For example the costs of a typical unit of 166 sq ft would be:-

The units that are available at any one time depend upon occupancy but there are 24 units on the ground floor (G1-G19 and A2, A3, A4, A7, and A8), four units on the first floor and four on the second floor.
Business Rates will also be paid direct to Derby City Council.
Upon receipt of the keys to your unit - a month's rent and service charge in advance (at subsidised rate) and security deposit (a month's unsubsidised rent and service charge) is required.
